Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel... scincare magic!

The joy about being a Debenhams Beauty Club member (apart from the obvious perks) is that occasionally you get the opportunity to attend lovely events. The most recent one I was invited to, was a skincare event hosted at a suite in the fabulous Three Cheval Quays HotelT, a stone’s throw from the Tower of London.

The brands featured there were Clinique, Elemis and Dr Murad, all of which had booths in different rooms of the suite with representatives and beauticians providing information about their brands and advice for specific needs as well as offering treatments.

I am a huge Clinique fan – I have been using their products for 25 years – and I can’t praise Elemis’s Pro-Collagen Marine Cream enough but the true revelation for me was Dr Murad. I had heard about the brand and Dr Murad himself but never actually tried any of the products so when the lovely representatives offered me a facial I immediately went for it. We started with removing my make up with the Renewal cleansing Cream and then applying Intensive – C Radiance Peel.

Intensive-C Radiance Peel is recommended for instantly brightening skin, making it more radiant-looking, exfoliating, smoothing and hydrating the skin.

Dr Murad explains on the website:

An intensive treatment that instantly brightens skin to reveal a younger, more radiant complexion whilst helping to reduce the signs of ageing. It brightens, smooths and hydrates skin, reversing the signs of environmental ageing. An easy to use, at-home treatment which enhances luminosity to reveal a more radiant complexion. This treatment uses deeply anti-ageing Glycolic Acid to exfoliate the skin and accelerate cell turnover, revealing younger cells, removing dullness and improving skin texture. Antioxidants Vitamin C and Indian Fig protect against free radical damage and strengthen skin’s natural defences, whilst collagen production is enhanced by myrtle extract to boost youthful resilience and elasticity, enhancing skin’s firmness and making it look younger.

After waiting for 10 minutes to give the product enough time to work – and you feel it work - it was removed and Hydrating Toner was applied to balance and sooth, followed by Renewing Eye Cream and Age- Balancing Serum to restore the hydration levels of my skin. I was also given samples of the products suitable for my skin and detailed advice on when and how to use them.

I was so impressed by the results that I went home make up free. My skin remained smooth and healthy for a week and in the meantime I had already purchased a full bottle of Intensive-C Radiance Peel, that ever since I use weekly and my skin has never looked better.

Another star product of the brand is the multi-award winning Invisiblur Perfecting Shield SPF 30

Recommended for:

Blurring and priming the skin with a matte finish

Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Improving smoothness and texture of skin

A 5 in 1 multi-benefit formula featuring invisible SPF technology. An anti-ageing treatment that also blurs, primes, moisturises and protects the skin with an invisible sunscreen to reveal a smooth, blurred, flawless complexion in just one step.

I tried it as well from a sample and, like all Dr Murad products I’ve tried so far, it’s amazing!

The internet has been buzzing lately with the new exciting product to be launched soon straight from Dr Murad’s clinic, the Murad Professional Eye lift Firming Treatment. Can’t wait to get my hands on it as well!

Have you tried any of Dr Murad’s products and which one is your favourite?
