Perfume of the Week… Josune by Daniel Josier

Our perfume of the week is the scent of happiness and love. The initial idea that drove Daniel Josier to create this fragrance was positive thinking (which was supposed to be the actual name of the perfume) and the energy of the universe.

When it was finally ready he decided to change the name, so he renamed it after the person that fills him with energy, positivism, good vibes and love on a daily basis, his wife Josune.

Josune is a very joyous perfume and one I reached out today to drive me through another difficult and demanding week ahead, with the weather getting colder, the days getting shorter and the workload getting increasingly heavier!

Top notes are bergamot, rose and jasmine; middle notes are patchouli, sandalwood and iris; base notes are vanilla, praline and musk.

Josune opens joyfully like a bunch of flowers offered to you with a smile, fresh and vibrant with a hint of citrus fruits and soon the warmth of patchouli and sandalwood embrace the bouquet to create a soft yet strong shield of olfactory protection. When the base notes make their appearance, they enhance the sweetness; delicate vanilla, mouth-watering praline and soft musk that bond with your skin scent creating a comforting and yet uplifting combination that lasts throughout the day and helps you think and react positively to the challenges you face. With the demanding lifestyles we all lead, we’ll be needing all the help we can get and a perfume that helps you find that inner balance and positivity is sometimes the best weapon against the daily stress we face.

Have a great week everyone!
