Scent Stories… MiN New York Collection Chapter 9 – DAHAB

Dahab is the 9th Chapter of Volume 1 of the SCENT STORIES Collection.

DAHAB means "time goes", it's where the desert meets sea & stars.

Oud burns in the distance, mingles with the warm spicy air.

The notes are:

Top: Galbanum, Cinnamon, Saffron, Lime & Nutmeg

Heart: Frankincense, Benzoin, Cypress & Geranium

Base: Cedarwood, Musk, Amber & Oud (Agarwood)

I’ve never been to the desert. I know however the scent of hot sand mingled with the ozonic sea breeze smell and this is exactly how this perfume opens on my skin, dry and pungent, yet airy, fizzy and sparkling.

The spices follow soon and you are immediately transported from the beach into a bustling spice market where the precious goods are sold in a multitude of colours and textures and the stalls burn incense and oud that completes the olfactory portrait this perfume is trying to paint. It truly tells a very accurate story of a place that actually exists and by smelling it, it made me want to plan a trip there soon!
