Perfume of the week… Floris Fleur…

Happy Monday everyone! It’s not the most popular day of the week so I decided to introduce a weekly post named “Perfume of the week” and write about a perfume that will help us get through the days ahead and perhaps give us a theme if you like.

For the first Monday I chose Floris’s Fleur.

Fleur was launched in 2000 and includes notes of bergamot, grapefruit, melon, peach, water lily, jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, ylang ylang, violet, musk & sandalwood.

Fleur is a very summery and vibrant perfume. It opens very cool, green and flowery with the water lilies dancing in a pond while juicy peaches and ripe melons are served for breakfast and while you sink your teeth in them a mix of flowers appear, jasmine and ylang first, followed by lily of the valley and rose. Rose is the most persistent in longevity of all and quite distinguishable on my skin even after a few hours when musk and sandalwood take over and turn it into a skin scent clean, comforting and long lasting.

Quite perfect for the hot and humid days ahead!

Enjoy the week!
